Webarama servers utilise both Windows 2003 Server and Webarama Secured Linux, a CentOS based distribution with a heavily modified and secured kernel. Dedicated server clients can specify their preferred operating system to be preloaded at the time of order.

Cisco Routing and Switching hardware is used at the core of our network to allow for full management, monitoring and reliability while F5 BigIP hardware is employed to provide edge firewalling and load balancing.

APC Power Distribution Units allow for remote power cycling in the event that a server or hardware device becomes unreachable due to software fault. Dedicated server and Colocation customers can lease PDU ports allowing their hardware to be rebooted through a secure web interface.

All Webarama infrastructure is located within the GlobalCenter datacentre, South Melbourne. GlobalCenter provide a purpose built facility that utilises N+1 UPS configuration, standby generators offering 32 hours of emergency power, Process cooling which maintains a stable temperature throughout the building in a secure and 24/7 manned environment.
